WH (Heer) Marching Boots

Wehrmacht (Heer) EM/NCO's Marching Boots or 'Jackboots' (Marschstiefel), also known as 'Knobelbecher'. Besides the helmet, the leather boot is probably one of the most instantly recognizable items of the German military. Nice high quality, brown coloured, leather marching boots. This was originally a tall pair of cavalry type boots which has been shortened to a pair of jack boots. Complete with original heel-irons and hobnails, one steel toe plate is missing, see photos. The boots are not showing any visible markings, the size is a 28,5 (43). The boots are complete with all cloth pull-loops which look to have been replaced once. The boots are showing clear traces of usage but are in overall good condition. This pair would display great on a combat uniform. Nice pair of marching boots in good combat worn condition!
