Wehrmacht (Heer) M31 Mountain Troopers Canteen and Cup (Feldflasche 31 und Trinkbecher). The standard issue M31 canteen was introduced on 23 March 1931. This is a so-called 'Labeflasche' with a 1 liter capacity as issued for tropical climates and/or Mountain Troopers (Gebirgsjäger). The aluminum canteen is maker marked and dated 'WWL43' indicating production in 1943. The canteen is compleet with its original reinforced felt cover and leather straps. The felt cover and straps are not visible marked. The canteen is complete with its original black bakelite cup. The canteen is showing minor traces of usage, see photos. Nice original Mountain Troopers canteen in good used condition!
