Description
Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The 2nd class cross was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction with an iron core, the cross shows some normal traces of wair and paint-loss. The cross comes with its original ribbon as found. The cross is maker marked with number '93' indicating production by the company of 'Richard Simm & Söhne' from Gablonz an der Neiße. Nice original cross in good used condition!
