Description
Product Images
Iron Cross second class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse), complete with its original ribbon. On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction, the cross just shows some minor wear and great detail overall, the cross is complete with its original ribbon. The cross is nicely maker marked on the frame with number 'L/12' indicating production by the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin. There looks to be one small repair to the suspension loop attachement. Rare variant missing in most iron cross collections. Extremely rare original cross in good condition!
