Nicley ink-marked with the Third Reich style eagle surrounded by 'Der Polizeipräsident, Wien'. Great set of license plates!

Description
Set of 2 World War 2 Motorcycle License Plates 'A-140 034' (Motorrad - Kennzeichen). These are two license plates which have been welded together and were intended for usage on the front fender of a motorcycle. There is a nice ink-marking showing the Third Reich style eagle surrounded by 'Der Polizeipräsident, Wien' indicating that the license plates were issued in Vienna (Austria). See black&white photo of similar plates in usage in 1935 (Copyright: ÖNB). Decorative and very hard to find original set of wartime license plates!
