This is a nice example of a hand-embroidered NSDStB (Studentenbund) Sleeve-Eagle (Hoheitsabzeichen). The NSDStB was the German National Socialist Student League. This eagle was most likely used on the higher ranking tunics within this student league's organization. This example is nicely hand-embroidered using silver braid on a black wool background. The fine embroidery shows great detail. Example in clearly used and tunic removed condition, extremely rare original eagle!
