Late war Wehrmacht 'Fettbuchse' (Butter Dish or Fat-Container). These containers rank among the 'basic' equipment of any front-soldier and were stored in the bread-bag. The brown speckled bakelite container is in good condition and fully functional. The butter dish is nicely marked and dated 1944. Example opens in 1/4 turn like it should be. Nice original late war brown speckled example in very good condition!
