Aluminum WH (Heer) ID-disc (Erkennungsmarke) as intended for a member within the '1./J.R.248' (Infanterie-Regiment 248) which took part in the invasion of France. The disc also bears the soldier's blood-group (type: 'AB') which has been clearly imprinted on the obverse of the disc. The disc is complete with its original carrying cord. The disc is in uncleaned condition as found. Nice original ID-disc in good used condition!
