This is an aluminum WH (Heer) ID-disc (Erkennungsmarke) as intended for a member within the '3.(Li.)/1.Bb.(m)27' - '3. Lichtmess-Batterie, leichte Beobachtungs-Abteilung 27 (motorisiert)'. This unit was stationed in the Netherlands at the end of the war. The disc also bears the soldier's blood-group (type: '0') which has been clearly imprinted on the front of the disc. The disc is in uncleaned condition as found. Nice original ID-disc in good used condition!
