This is a nice original period (large-sized 14,5x18 cms) press-release photograph, showing Knight's Cross wearer 'Major Haase' wearing his awarded Knight's cross, on his left Hauptmann Recklies, on his right Hauptmann Beusch. Major Haase was the commander of an Engineer Bataillon (Pionierbataillon) named 'Kampfgruppe Haase'. This photograph was authorised for publication by the Geman authorithies on 28 April 1942 and released in Holland. Great original period press-release photograph!
