 This is a nice Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger photograph. Nice quality photograph showing a Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger wearing his 'Splittertarn' camouflage jump smock, paratrooper gloves and paratrooper helmet. He has an early MP40 hanging at his chest. A map case is visible at his right thigh. There's a description at the back: 'Zur Erinnerung an Euren Sohn Willy - Weihnachten, Kriegsjahr 1941' (In memory of your son Willy - Christmas, war year 1941). The photograph measures 9 x 14 cms in size and is printed on Mimosa photo paper. This photo was developed by 'Sandberg Heese'  from Schwerin (Mecklenburg). Hij heeft een vroege MP40 op zijn borst hangen. Een kaartentas is zichtbaar op zijn rechter zij.
