This is a nice Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger photograph. Nice quality photograph showing a Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger wearing his 'Splittertarn' camouflage jump smock, paratrooper gloves and paratrooper helmet. He has an early MP40 hanging at his chest. A map case is visible at his right thigh. There's a description at the back: 'Zur Erinnerung an Euren Sohn Willy - Weihnachten, Kriegsjahr 1941' (In memory of your son Willy - Christmas, war year 1941). The photograph measures 9 x 14 cms in size and is printed on Mimosa photo paper. This photo was developed by 'Sandberg Heese'  from Schwerin (Mecklenburg).
