Clearly visible in the photograph is his 'Pour le Mérite', Red Eagle Order 2nd Class with Swords, Austrian Iron Crown Order, Zahringer Lion Order, Danneborg Order, 1870 Iron Cross 1st Class amongst others, see scan. The photo dates around 1870 and was developed by 'Hugo Danz' from Berlin. Interesting original photograph!
