 This is a rare SS-Verfügungstruppe, also known as 'SS-VT', portrait photograph. Nice portrait showing an SS-VT Rottenführer wearing his SS-VT tunic and SS-VT overseas cap. An "SS 2" collar tab is clearly visible indicating that he was a member in the 'SS Verfügungstruppe Standarte 2 Germania'. The shoulder strap is showing the distinctive embroidered 'G' of 'Germania', piped with silver wire and black threads. The photograph measures approximately 8,5 x 14 cms in size. 'February 1940' is written on the back. Nice original portrait photo!

 Dit is een zeldzame SS-Verfügungstruppe, ook wel 'SS-VT', portret foto. Mooi portret van een SS-VT Rottenführer, hij draagt een 'SS-VT Feldbluse' en SS-VT schuitje. Een 'SS 2' kraagspiegel is duidelijk zichtbaar, wat betekent dat hij bij de 'SS Verfügungstruppe Standarte 2 Germania'  zat. Een schoouderstuk toont de kenmerkende geborduurde 'G' van 'Germania', afgezet met zilverdraad en zwarte draad. De foto is ongeveer 8,5 x 14 cm groot. Op de achterzijde staat 'februari 1940' geschreven. Mooie originele portret-foto!
