This is a great set of 2 original period photographs of crashed Junkers Ju52 airplanes. These photgraphs were taken in the Netherlands in May 1940, most likely somewhere between Rotterdam and The Hague (in the area of Delft). The Luftwaffe used this type of airplane to drop off Fallschirmjägers during the invasion of the Netherlands. On the first photo, the front of a crashed airplane is visible. The second photo shows a crashed airplane from the side. The photographs measure approximately 6 x 8,5 cms in size and are in excellent condition. Nice lot of interesting, sharp photographs!
