Militaria Plaza

This is a nice 'Legioen Nederland' 7½ cents postage stamp block, consisting of 10 original Dutch postage stamps dating from 1942. These red stamps were sold with an addition of 2½ cents to raise money for the war at the Eastern Front. Underneath the stamps is written: "for the benefit of the provision fund of the Dutch Legion 1942" (uitgegeven ten bate van het voorzieningsfonds van het Nederlandsch Legioen. 1942). The stamps were designed by a member of the NSB, The National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands. Nice block of postage stamps in unissued condition!
