'Reichsluftschutzbund' (RLB) Gasmask with Canister (Gasmaske mit Blechbüchse). With the potential use of chemical warfare agents RLB personnel were equipped with a wide variety of assorted civilian and military gasmasks. This is an official Luftschutz Gasmask, type 'RL 1-38/3'. The canister is painted in fieldgrey and is complete with its original long cloth carrying strap, the canister is maker marked by the 'Auer' company. The Gasmask is produced in a rubberized canvas with metal fittings and is complete with its original 1937 dated 'S-Filter'. Nice original set in good used condition!
