Kriegsmarine 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungsverbände' (minesweeper war badge). The Minesweeper’s war badge was instituted on 31 August 1940 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral 'Erich Raeder'. The badge is an early 'Buntmetall' version in, the badge is showing great details and still retains most of it's original finish, it is complete with a functional pin and catch. It has never been cleaned nor polished. The badge is nicely maker marked with 'Fec. Otto Placzek Berlin, Ausf. Schwerin-Berlin'. Nice original badge in good used condition!
