Wehrmacht Field Lantern (Einheitslaterne 37), these carbide lanterns were issued to most Wehrmacht units for use in the field. Tan painted metal example, it comes with a complete set matching tan painted metal black-out slides (Schiebern). The Lantern is nicely maker marked 'ago' indicating production by the company of 'E. Luft' in Tetschen (Decín). The lantern is in good uncleaned condition as found, showing some surface rust. Great original piece of equipment!
