Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse), complete with its original ribbon and pouch of issue. On 1 September 1939 Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross (First time in 1813). The second class medal was for award to personnel who performed a single act of bravery in combat. The cross has a three piece construction, the cross just shows some minor wear and great detail overall, the cross comes with its original 28cms long ribbon and matching pouch as found. The cross is nicely maker marked with number '44' indicating production by the company of 'Jakob Bengel' from Oberstein, complete with matching pouch in good condition, uncommon manufacturer. Nice original set in good condition!
