Third Reich ‘Reichsbahn’ Railroad Eagle. 27 inch (69cm) wide example in very good condition showing great details and a nice patina. The larger type eagle is nicely maker marked by 'J&Z' indicating production by the company of 'Johannsen & Ziegner' from Oranienburg, it is also marked on the reverse with 'GAl Mg Si' and with 'LOK RZA BLN'. The four studs have been removed, probably due to sawing off the wagon. This will be a great display piece in any collection. Rare and stunning original railroad eagle!
