Luftwaffe FLAK Sound Locator's trade badge (Horcher der Flakartillerie Tätigkeitsabzeichen). The FLAK Sound Locator's trade badge was introduced for wear by qualified personnel on 2 April 1942. Personnel who had served for one year or had participated in the successful downing of an enemy aircraft were distinguished from other flak artillery sound locators by the addition of a twisted gilt cord on the outer edges of the badge. The badge is nicely machine-embroidered in white/silver on a blue-grey woolen background and is having a gold cord piping added to the outer edges of the badge. Rare original example in good used condition!
