This is a large-sized BeVo-woven 'Reichswehr' M32 Sport-Shirt Insignia (Truppensportabzeichen). This is the larger type machine woven sport-shirt insignia in black on white cotton showing a Roman style broadsword. as used on the various Heeres sport-shirts and training outfits. This is the Model 1932 sport-shirt insignia as introduced in the Reichswehr period, it was replaced by the well known sport-shirt eagle in May 1935. The insignia is sized approximately 20 x 12 cms. The insignia is just a bit wrinkled and shows some staining caused by years of storage. Scarce and hard to find early sport-shirt insignia in clearly used and sport-shirt removed condition, nice original example!
