 Waffen-SS Italian volunteer's Sleeve Shield. As with other foreign volunteer units the Germans devised and produced a national sleeve shield intended for soldiers of the '29. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (Italienische Nr.1)'. Although produced during the war it is questionable weather these Italian sleeve shield were ever issued or worn. This shield originates almost certainly from the SS clothing department at the Dachau KZ when liberated in 1945. The shield is in mint and unissued condition and just shows some minor traces caused by years of storage. Nice original sleeve shield!
