This is a nice BeVo-woven Waffen-SS ('tropical') Sleeve Eagle (Ärmeladler). The tropical version of the Waffen-SS sleeve eagle was introduced in december 1942 for wear on the tropical uniforms. This BeVo machine woven version was to be worn by EM/NCO’s. The eagle is executed in golden-yellow linnen on a black linnen background. These arm-eagles were also worn on the M44 'Dot-pattern' camouflaged 4-pocket-tunics. The eagle is a bit wrinkled caused by years of storage. Nice original example in very good, unissued, condition!
