Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery Greatcoat
Kriegsmarine 'Küstenartillerie' (Coastal Artillery) Greatcoat (Mantel). The Greatcoat/surcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Heavy quality field-grey woolen construction greatcoat. The greatcoat has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline, the buttons are the typical coastal artilllery type buttons. The greatcoat is partially lined with tan/grey lining material. The greatcoat is showing a nice Kriegsmarine acceptance marking and is showing various size markings (chest size 104cms), the greatcoat is maker marked by a Dutch company 'J&N' from Amsterdam. The greatcoat is in very good condition showing minor traces of usage and age. Rare and hard to find original Coastal Artillery greatcoat!
