Luftwaffe M43 Field Blouse
WH (Luftwaffe) 'cotton' (HBT) M43 Field Blouse (Feldbluse). The fieldgrey construction cotton field blouse has four pockets with straight flaps and field-grey/blue finished, pebbled metal buttons. There is a six-button front closure using the same type of buttons. There is a lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The tunic has buttons and loops for slip-on shoulder boards. The field blouse is complete with an original machine-sewn 'Drillich' (HBT) type Luftwaffe breast eagle. The interior is unlined, with fieldgrey cotton used for reinforcements at the seams and the small bandage pocket on the lower right. The field blouse is nicely size marked (chest size 90cms) and looks to be dated 1944. There is some staining and some damage beneath the collar and near the shoulderstrap buttons, see photos. Otherwise the field blouse is in very good condition. I've never seen a field blouse in cotton before. Rare original late war Luftwaffe field blouse!
