WH (Heer) M44 Greatcoat
WH (Heer) M44 Greatcoat (Tuchmantel). The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Heavy quality field-grey/brown coloured wool/rayon blend construction greatcoat, it is partly lined with typical late war grey cotton/rayon lining material. The brown coloured wool is the typical late war wool as often used for M44 tunics. The greatcoat has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The greatcoat is complete with all buttons and the shoulder-board loops and buttons are present. The greatcoat is showing a faint marking. The greatcoat probably dates around late 1944/1945. The greatcoat is in very good, only slightly worn condition, see photos. Rare original late war greatcoat in very good condition!
