WH (Heer) NCO's Panzer Wrap (Panzerjacke). The Panzer wrap is in very good near mint condition. The wrap is constructed of high quality black wool, the wrap is having two internal pockets, a pair of inner belt hook support straps and waist tie tunnels. The wool is showing a nice white ink marking of the manufacturer of the wool. The wrap is nicely maker marked by the company 'Opalla & Co' and showing size markings, this is a large sized jacket having a chest size of 100cms. The wrap is nicely dated 'B40' indicating 1940. The collar has a black painted steel hook and eye, the collar underside has lines of reinforcement stitching in a large zig zag shape. A pair of early type wool piped Panzer collar tabs are nicely factory machine-sewn to the collar, complete with early aluminum Panzer skulls. The wrap is having a nice original period hand-applied BeVo woven panzer breast-eagle. Shoulder strap loops and buttons are present, the wrap is complete with a pair of pink piped Panzer shoulder-straps as inteded for a 'Feldwebel der Panzertruppen'. The sleeves are period lengthened but the wrap isn’t shortened or tailored in any other way. The wrap is in very good unissued condition without any damages. Superb and stunning original Panzer Wrap!
