BeVo-woven DRL Sports Badge in Bronze (Deutsches Reichsabzeichen für Leibesübungen in Bronze). Originally introduced as the DRA medal shortly after the 1913 Olympic games as an incentive to promote physical training among the German population. In 1933 the DRA badge was replaced by a new DRL badge of the same design. This is a nice cloth version (Stoffausführung) of the DRA badge, woven in the so-called 'BeVo'-weave technique in orange/bronze on a black background. Nice original example in good used and clearly sport-shirt removed condition!
