DRK EM Visor Cap
This is a nice original German Red Cross EM/NCO Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). In December 1937 the DRK (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) gained status as a legally recognized organization by the NSDAP. As with other essential services in Third Reich Germany, it came under control of the NSDAP. The grey woolen visor cap is piped in the light-grey 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for DRK personnel. The leather sweatband is in very good condition, the interior of the cap is fully lined in a orange oilcloth, where a celluloid sweat diamond (in good condition) is sewn. The cap is complete with it's original 2nd pattern enamelled DRK cap eagle, an aluminum DRK wreath and cockade, and a blackened leather chinstrap in good condition. There are no damages, this cap is just in stunning condition!
