Luftwaffe 'Legion Condor' Cufftitle
Luftwaffe 'Legion Condor' Cufftitle (Ärmelband). This cufftitle was introduced on 12 June 1939. This cufftitle was to be worn by all members of the 'Kampfgeschwader 53', 'Flak Regiment 9' and the 'Luftnachrichten Regiment 3', in commemoration of those airmen who fought in the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War of 1936-39. This is an EM/NCO's version, the blue wool construction cufftitle is showing the machine embroidered script 'Legion Condor' in silver/grey threads. The cufftitle has the typical opened back construction with the top and bottom edges folded over the reverse. The cufftitle is in good used but shortened condition, the cufftitle measures approximately 23cms in length. Nice original cufftitle in good used condition!
Luftwaffe 'Legion Condor' Mouwband (Ärmelband). Deze mouwband werd ingesteld op 12 juni 1939. De mouwband werd gedragen door alle leden van het 'Kampfgeschwader 53', 'Flak Regiment 9' en het 'Luftnachrichten Regiment 3', ter herinnering aan de vliegeniers die vochten in het Condor-Legioen tijdens de Spaanse Burgeroorlog van 1936-39. Dit is een exemplaar voor manschappen of onderofficieren, de blauwe wollen mouwband toont de machinaal-geborduurde tekst 'Legion Condor' in zilver/grijze draad. De mouwband heeft de typische open achterkant constructie waarbij de beide randen over de achterkant omgevouwen zijn. De mouwband is in goede gebruikte maar ingekorte staat, de mouwband is ongeveer 23cm lang. Mooie originele mouwband in goede gebruikte staat!
