Luftwaffe Officer's Collar-tabs & Shoulder-boards
Nice set consisting of a pair of Luftwaffe collar-tabs and shoulder-boards as intended for a 'Hauptmann der Flieger' or 'Fallschirmjäger'. The collar tabs are having the yellow branch-colour (Truppenfarbe) for personnel serving within a 'Flieger' or 'Fallschirmjäger' unit. Wool construction collar tabs with three hand embroidered rank 'gulls' above an oak-leaf half-wreath, all in bright silver/aluminum wire threads. The collar tabs are piped with a bright silver/aluminum cord and are mounted on a light tan buckram backing. The shiny shoulder-boards are as well having the yellow branch-colour (Truppenfarbe) for personnel serving within a Flight/FJ unit. The boards are constructed from the 'smooth' type wool and are complete with slip-on tongues. The boards are having two pip attached indicating the rank of 'Hauptmann'. Nice original set in good used and clearly tunic removed condition!
