MGZ34 Optical Sight in Box (MG.Z.34 im Transportkasten). The German MGZ34 Optical Sight was intended for use with the MG34 and later the MG42 machine gun, it could be mounted on a Lafette tripod. The sight is in complete condition with original rubber eyecup. The sight is nicely maker marked by the company of 'G. Heyde' from Dresden, the sight is marked with the unique serial-number '1175'. The optics are clear. The paint has been slightly touched up on several point, see photos. The sight is complete with its original transport box. The box is nicely 'WaA' marked on the inside of the lid. The carrying strap has been replaced post-war, the box has most likely been repainted once. The set is complete with a hard to find original Light Cable, the light cable is in very good condition and nicely maker marked 'ddv'.
