SA M33 Dagger - partially removed Röhm
SA M33 Dagger (Dienstdolch M33), ground Röhm example. This is an early dagger, which would date around 1933. The dagger has a wooden 'walnut' grip, the grip has a nicely inset nickel/silver national eagle, the enameled runic SA button is missing. The wooden grip is showing some cracks caused by age and bad storage. The blade bears the inscription 'Alles für Deutschland' (Everything for Germany), the reverse ricasso is showing traces of a partially removed 'Röhm' inscription. The blade is nicely maker marked by 'Carl Eickhorn' from Solingen. The scabberd is in rusted condition. The dagger was recently found on an attic in Germany and showing clear traces of age and bad storage but I left it uncleaned and untouched as found being a true historical artifact and piece of history, see photos!
