Wehrmacht (Heer) 'Verkehrs-Aufsicht' Armband (Armbinde). These armbands were worn by personnel of the Traffic Regulations Battalions (part of the Feldgendarmerie) when performing traffic control duties. The orange coloured cotton armband is showing the BeVo-woven black text: 'Verkehrs-Aufsicht' (Traffic Control). The armband is showing some staining caused by years of storage. Nice original armband in very good condition!
