Waffen-SS BeVo 'Götz von Berlichingen' Cufftitle
Waffen-SS BeVo 'Götz von Berlichingen' Cufftitle (Ärmelband). The 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division "Götz von Berlichingen" was a German Waffen-SS division that saw action on the Western Front during World War II and is most famous for its actions during the Normandy battles. The cufftitle is woven in grey/white thread in the so-called 'BeVo' weave, both ends are factory machine-sewn with one end having the 'BeVo-Wuppertal' maker's name. The cufftitle shows the woven script 'Götz von Berlichingen', the back of the cufftitle shows the salt-and-pepper design. The full length cufftitle is still sewn together and in clearly worn and tunic removed condition. Stunning and rare original cufftitle!
Waffen-SS BeVo 'Götz von Berlichingen' mouwband (Ärmelband). De 17e SS Panzergrenadier Division "Götz von Berlichingen" was een Duitse Waffen-SS-divisie die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog in actie kwam aan het westfront en is het meest bekend om zijn acties tijdens de gevechten in Normandië. De mouwband is gewoven in grijs/witte draad volgens de zogenaamde 'BeVo' weef-techniek, beide uiteinden van de mouwband zijn machinaal vernaaid met aan één uiteinde de 'BeVo-Wuppertal' bedrijfsnaam. De mouwband toont de gewoven tekst 'Götz von Berlichingen', de achterkant van de mouwband toont het herkenbare zout-en-peper design. De volle lengte mouwband zit nog aan elkaar genaaid en is in duidelijk gedragen en uniform-verwijderde staat. Prachtige en zeldzame originele mouwband!
