Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery Greatcoat
Kriegsmarine 'Küstenartillerie' (Coastal Artillery) Greatcoat (Mantel). The Greatcoat/surcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Heavy quality field-grey woolen construction greatcoat. The greatcoat has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline, the buttons are the typical coastal artilllery type buttons. Some small buttons at the back of the greatcoat are missing. The greatcoat is partially lined with tan/grey lining material. The greatcoat is showing various size markings (chest size 94cms), the greatcoat is maker marked by the company 'A.Wolter & Söhne. The greatcoat is complete with a pair of original coastal artillery shoulder-boards in the rank of 'Obermaat'. The greatcoat is in very good condition showing minor traces of usage and age. Rare and hard to find original Coastal Artillery greatcoat!
