Kriegsmarine Tropical Shorts (kurze Tropenhose). With the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'. This is a pair of light weight, tan coloured, cotton construction Kriegsmarine tropical shorts. The shorts are showing some size stamps and are marked with a 'B.A.W.' (Bekleidungsamt Willemshaven) Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp and dated 1943. The shorts are in good used condition showing normal traces of usage. Nice original Kriegsmarine tropical shorts!
