Luftwaffe EM/NCO's Belt & Buckle (Koppel und Koppelschloß mit Lederwiderhalt). Originally the EM/NCO’s buckles were produced with a silver finish until a blue/grey version was introduced around mid-1940, and a tropical olive drab version was introduced in late 1940. This is a nice aluminum construction box buckle, the buckle is nicely maker marked with a logo indicating production by the company of 'H. Aurich' from Dresden in 1939 and comes on its original brown leather tab, the tab is matching maker marked and showing a nice 'L.B.A.' (Luftwaffe Beschaffungs Amt) marking. The buckle is showing normal traces of usage, unfortunately the hinge has been repaired with an old nail, this looks like a period repair, see close up photos. The buckle comes together with its original 98cms long sized leather belt as found together. The belt has been slightly shortened, see photos. The belt is maker marked and dated 1941. The set is in used and worn condition. Nice original set as found together!
