Luftwaffe FLAK Major's Four-Pocket Tunic
Very nice high quality, privately purchased blue/grey wool construction 1935 pattern Luftwaffe four-pocket tunic (Waffenrock) as intended for a 'Major der Flakartillerie'. The tunic features a vertical, four button, front closure. The right breast has a very nice quality hand-embroidered officer's type breast-eagle neatly hand-stitched to the tunic. A pair of red-coloured collar tabs, both having one hand-embroidered rank-gull in a full oakleaf wreath, is nicely machine-sewn to the collar. The tunic is having shoulder-boards of the sew-in type having the red 'Waffenfarbe' indicating a Major within a 'FLAK' unit. There are award-loops on the left breast for wear of two awards. The interior of the tunic is lined in grey rayon. The tunic is not visible maker marked or dated. The tunic is in good used condition, there is some minor staining and regular traces of usage, see photos. Nice original tunic in good used condition!
