Luftwaffe Flight Officer's Four-Pocket Tunic Grouping
Very nice high quality, privately purchased blue/grey wool construction 1935 pattern Luftwaffe four-pocket tunic (Waffenrock) as intended for an 'Oberleutnant der Flieger/Fallschirmjäger'. The tunic features a vertical, four button, front closure. The right breast has a very nice quality hand-embroidered officer's type breast-eagle neatly hand-stitched to the tunic. A pair of yellow-coloured collar tabs, both showing two hand-embroidered rank-gulls above a half oakleaf wreath, is nicely hand-sewn to the collar. The collar tabs make a perfect match with the shoulder boards. The tunic is having shoulder-boards of the sew-in type having the yellow 'Waffenfarbe' indicating an 'Oberleutnant' within a Flight (Flieger) or Paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) unit. The interior of the tunic is lined in grey rayon, a piece of lining has been cut-out from the tunic, probably to remove a name or stamp. The tunic comes with internal dagger hangers. The tunic is in good used condition, there is some minor staining/damages and regular traces of usage, see photos. The tunic comes together with its matching pair of breeches, made of the same wool. The breeches are having leather panels in the crotch. The breeches are closed by nicely wartime 'Prym 4' marked press-studs. The breeches are in good used condition. The set comes together with a period pair of officer's tall leather boots, a 'Assmann' marked officer's double-claw belt (Zweidorn) and a nice 7,65mm Pistol holster. The brown leather holster is nicely 'WaA' marked. Nice original Luftwaffe officer's uniform grouping for a fair price!
