NSDAP Kreisleiter Greatcoat (Mantel). This is an NSDAP (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) 1939 model greatcoat with the correct post-1939 white piping. The greatcoat is having two rows of five front closure buttons, one button looks to have been replaced once, there is a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The buttons are all the gold washed, political NSDAP type, nicely 'RZM' marked. The greatcoat is having a lay-down, brown, construction collar. The greatcoat is complete with 'Handwerks-Arbeit' (Handmade) type RZM label. A pair of collar tabs as intended for a 'Kreis Abschnittsleiter' are nicely hand-sewn to the collar, a nice heavily worn and slightly damaged armband for a 'Kreis Leiter eines Hauptamtes' is sewn to the wearer's left sleeve. The greatcoat is showing traces of usage and some small moth damages. This greatcoat was recently found in a house-cleaning in Berlin. Original Kreis Level greatcoat's are almost impossible to find and hardly ever offered for sale. Great and stunning original greatcoat!
