Waffen-SS M42 Plane Tree Camouflage Smock

Description

Waffen-SS M42 Camouflage Smock (Tarnjacke). This is an M42 type 1 smock having the horizontal lower pockets. The smock is showing a printed, reversible, Plane Tree (Platanenmuster) camouflage pattern camouflage. The camouflage pattern has distinctly different colorations to the summer and autumn sides. The smock was closed by a cloth closure tie string, it comes with a textbook original string. There is one white coloured misprint, typical on many original smocks. The elastic elastic around the waistline and the tunnel looped elastics at each cuff have lost most of their elasticity. The reversible pocket bags are constructed in standard fieldgrey HBT cotton. The sleeves have open vented armpits. The fooliage loops are made of different pieces of camouflage, some loops look to have been repaired. The smock is showing clear traces of usage, there are some small damages and there are a few repairs, take a look at the photos for more details. The smocks were designed large enough to fit over the standard field uniform, so it will fit a mannequin easily. Hard to find original Waffen-SS Camouflage Smock in combat worn condition. This smock will make a stunning Waffen-SS combat display!
