This is a nice original early stainless steel and aluminum construction cutlery set (Essbesteck), consisting of a 'Gabel' (Fork), 'Löffel' (Spoon), 'Messer' (Knife) and a 'Dosenöffner' (can-opener). The 1941 dated can opener is marked with a Heeres eagle, the knife, fork and spoon are maker marked by 'Thomas Wielpütz' from Solingen (T.W.S.) and showing a Luftwaffe eagle and dated 1941. The set is showing normal traces of usage. A nice hard to find piece to be stored in a soldiers or officers bread-bag!
