Wehrmacht Reissued Dutch Field Blouse (Feldbluse). This was orignally a Dutch pre-war, so-called 'Grove Stof' combat tunic.The tunic is nicely marked and dated with 'CM39' (1939), the tunic is size '2W' marked. The tunic has been reissued in the German Army and has been modified for Wehrmacht use, 4 pockets have been attached to the tunic. There is a seven-button front closure. A lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure has been added to the tunic. The tunic has been completely stripped from its insignia and buttons, see photos. The interior is the standard Dutch cotton lining material. The field blouse is in heavily used and worn condition, there is some staining and there is some moth-damage, see photos. These tunics were often worn by Eastern Volunteers within the German Army. This would make a nice and affordable restauration project!
