WH (Heer) 'Afrikakorps' NCO's Panzer Wrap (Panzerjacke). The panzer wrap is constructed of high quality black wool, the wrap is having two internal pockets, a pair of inner belt hook support straps and waist tie tunnels. The wrap is nicely maker marked by the company 'Otto Meis' from Erfurt and showing several size markings. The wrap is nicely dated 'E41' indicating production in 1941. The collar has a black painted steel hook and eye, the collar underside has lines of reinforcement stitching in a large zig zag shape. A pair of wool-type pink piped Panzer collar tabs are nicely factory machine-sewn to the collar, complete with zinc type Panzer skulls. The wrap is having a nice original hand-applied BeVo-woven type panzer breast-eagle sewn to the chest. Shoulder strap loops and buttons are present, the wrap is complete with a pair of pink coloured nco's shoulder-straps as inteded for an 'Unteroffizier der Panzertruppen'. A believed to be locally made in Tripoli type 'Afrikakorps' cufftitle is nicely sewn to the wearer's right lower sleeve.
