WH (Heer) Artillery Officer's Uniform Grouping

WH (Heer) Officer's Field Blouse (Feldbluse) and Breeches as intended for a 'Leutnant der Heeres-Artillerie-Brigade 766'. The German Officer’s service tunic followed the basic design of the Enlisted Men/NCO’s field blouse, the most readily visible difference (besides the insignia) are the turned up French cuffs. This is a nice quality, 'privately purchased' M36-style field-grey wool tunic with dark-green collar. The buttons are all the field-grey pebbled examples. The tunic is complete with all original applied insignia, including a nicely hand-embroiderd Officer's type breast-eagle, machine sewn officer's type collar tabs and a pair of sew-in type officer's shoulder boards indicating the rank of a Leutnant. Both the collar tabs and shoulder-boards are piped in the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch colour) indicating the 'Artillerie'. The shoulder-boards are having the regimental numbers '766' attached indicating an officer within the 'Artillerie-Regimentsstab z.b.V. 766' or later 'Heeres-Artillerie-Brigade 766'. The tunic is not visible maker marked or dated. The tunic comes together with a nice pair of fieldgrey breeches, the breeches. Both the tunic and breeches are showing many smaller (moth)damages caused by storage, see photos. The tunic is stored in an old officer's type storage box and comes together with a pair of black officer's boots and an Officer's belt (Zweidorn) as found together. Overall a very cool untouched Artillery Officer's uniform grouping in box as all found together in a German Housecleaning a few monhts ago. Great display piece!
