Wehrmacht (Heer) Officer's Tunic as intended for a Cavalry officer. The German Officer’s service tunic followed the basic design of the Enlisted Men/NCO’s field blouse, the most readily visible difference (besides the insignia) are the turned up French cuffs. This is a nice quality privately purchased M36-style field-grey wool tunic with dark-green collar. The tunic is in overall good condition with minor traces of usage. The buttons are all the field-grey pebbled examples. The tunic is complete with a flat-wire woven breast-eagle and a pair of machine-sewn hand-embroidered officer's collar tabs. The collar tabs are piped in orange-yellow as intended for an Officer within an Cavalry unit. The tunic is only missing a pair of sew-in type shoulder-boards, a slightly mis-matched pair is included with the tunic for free (see last images). The tunic is not visible maker marked or dated. Nice original Cavalry officer's tunic in good condition!
