Wehrmacht (Heer) EM/NCO's Breeches for Mounted Troops (Stiefelhose für Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere der berittenen Truppen). The German 'Heer' (Army) utilized a wide variety of long trousers and breeches including the breeches for mounted troops. Mounted (cavalry) personnel in all branches of service utilized the riding breeches (Reithose) which were to be worn with most of the uniform types. Originally the seat and crotch of the riding breeches were out-fitted with leather reinforcement panels. This is a issue field-grey woolen-construction riding breeches for mounted troops, having leather reinforcement panels. The breeches are nicely maker marked and dated 1940 (F40). The breeches are showing multiple small damages/repairs, see photos. Overall a nice original pair of breeches in good used condition!
